Hire a Hardworking Realtor

Although they make their own schedules, real estate professionals, like Annapolis realtor John Day work hard to help people sell or find Maryland real estate. Even when they decide to take a day off, to go somewhere to relax, they may have to take a phone call from a client or they may do some paperwork or just brainstorm some ideas to publicize a home they have been contracted to sell.

You certainly do not want your realtor to get burnt out, so it is good if the person working to help you with a Maryland real estate transaction does get some rest. But overall you want to work with a real estate professional who is aggressive enough to do what it takes so that you are more than pleased with the results.

As a rule of thumb, John Day suggests that you speak with three real estate agents before you make a decision. He would be happy to have a conversation with you about your real estate needs. You can call him at 410-507-2909 or fill in this contact form to get in touch with a Maryland real estate agent with a proven track record who last year settled 52 homes in one week as the listing agent.

John Day works diligently for his clients and would welcome the opportunity to speak with you about how he can help you.

Real Estate Websites..What do you want?

The question of the day… What do you want?

You are here, you got here somehow. You may have searched a real estate term. You may be looking for home improvement information and one of your terms related to one of my Blog posts.  You tell me.

When most realtors® build web sites, I believe that they are trying to do what you, the public wants them to do.  But they are thinking from their prospective.  What will benefit the real estate agent who  is trying to solicit your business.  It isn’t really done that way with our conscious mind, it’s done out of habit and pre-programing. Naturally, we want your business. If you are buying or selling a Maryland Home their are thousands of agents vying for the opportunity to serve. Don’t hate us, we are just like you. We have to work to pay our bills and for whatever reason we ended up in the Real Estate business.  We only get paid if we complete a transaction. There is no salary, no benefits, no company car, so you see, we ARE MOTIVATED and sometimes aggressive realtors®.

So, back to my question, if you were looking for a real estate agent/agent website to serve your personal needs what is it you want.  Please make a comment below.  Because selfishly, I will tell you that although I really want you to find useful information here, I too, want your trust and business.

Share with us..What you want in a real estate agent and a real estate web site.

Thanks.

Pre-Spring Home Maintenance, pt. 2

On Monday, we mentioned that it is not too late to seal up air leaks that may make your home a little chillier than necessary. Spring will be here soon, yet we are not finished with cold weather yet, so it might help to get those air leaks taken care of now. Those of you who had to spend a good deal of time in the house because the recent winter storm are probably more aware of air leaks.

While we are talking temperature, we also want to remind you that now it a good time to change your furnace filter. This needs to be done about four times a year or every three months. So if you put a new filter in last November, it is due to be changed.

And given the cold weather we’ve had, air conditioning is probably the last thing on your mind, but it is good to think ahead. Why wait until it gets hot to have someone look at your air conditioner? Do it now while you do not need it. The demand for this service increases as it gets warmer.
