Heritage Harbor Annapolis, where this agent calls home

Heritage Harbour Annapolis has been my home for 8 weeks and I love it’!  When searching for homes for sale in Heritage Harbour, my wife Jeanine and I looked at many.  We were also searching around the Annapolis area for a neighborhood that would meet our needs; quiet, picturesque, amenities and suitable housing styles.  We found it in Heritage Harbor.

I have lived in and around Annapolis for years and as a top selling real estate agent, I was aware of the housing market and the area.  During our initial search, I was concerned that my wife would shy away from Heritage Harbour because it was known as a 55+ neighborhood. My wife is 9 years my junior, so I was concerned about how she would feel.  I drove her through Heritage Harbour several times.  She loved the community.  We visited the community center, viewed the pool, indoor and out, the clubhouse, the waterfront and tree lined streets.  What amazed her was how friendly everyone was that we crossed paths with during our search for a home in Heritage Harbor.  We then starting previewing several available homes. The floor plans are varied throughout the community, some felt absolutely claustrophobic to us and others were absolutely great.  We were selling a large home in the Downs in Annapolis and the adjustment to something half the size was a concern for me, more than her.  The thought of half the mortgage payment, half the maintenance, half the utilities and the great amenities did start to peak my interest.  We found a home on Bridgeport Way, off the main street, Mastline that backed to woods, had a two car garage, a walkout basement and was about 1900 square feet.  It was the one and we moved forward.

It’s been one of the better decisions of ours.  In just the first two days of moving in our very friendly neighbors introduced themselves, made us feel welcomed and kidded us about our age, we are the youngest on the cul-de-sac. I lived in the Downs for three years and never felt the warmth and friendship I have felt here.  I have used the pool several times for exercise and walked with my granddaughters through the neighborhood.  In honesty, I cannot tell you one thing I don’t like about our new home.

I did choose to make updates to the house and spent the first 8 weeks installing a new kitchen, flooring, paint, removed wallpaper, changed out some plumbing fixtures and it feels like home. There was no odd adjustment period that I had anticipated.  I am a believer, and if you want to see what I have done with my house or if you want to see what is available for sale in Heritage Harbour, I would love to give you the tour and help you become a happy neighbor.

I am a full time real estate agent, ranking in the top 5% of all agents in North America.  I am a senior real estate specialist, Certified Residential Specialist, Associate Broker and Graduate of the Real Estate Institute. Who better to help you make the move into Heritage Harbour or to help you sell your Heritage Harbour home?
