Heritage Harbour is the largest planned unit development in the Annapolis Maryland real estate market. The community features over 1600 homes spreading over many acres. The tree lined streets and beautiful full growth landscaping demonstrate the beautiful maturity of the neighborhood. The amenities are extensive in the active adult community. You don’t have to go far to enjoy; golf, tennis, indoor and outdoor pools, community center, exercise room, woodworking shop, billiard and card rooms, clubhouse and restaurant, nine tennis courts, nine hole par 3 golf course, library, boating dock, security patrols and so much more. It’s practically a self contained and very efficient neighborhood. Community activities are abundant. Occupants have more than 70 registered groups and activities with a wide array of options. Just some of those include; exercise classes, performing arts presentations, dancing, billiards, piing pong, bowling are just a few of your choices.

A Place for old people

That’s what people tell me when I tell them my wife and are are seriously looking at buying a home in the community. Well, they are wrong. I’ve visited, driven through and worked with home sellers in the community and don’t agree. There is no other place in the area for people 55 and above that offers as much as Heritage Harbor does. You, as a resident, have the choice to participate or not in all the facilities and activities this community offers. I think its great! I also feel that you would be hard pressed to find a better and more affordable community in which to live and play.

The homes range from spacious single family homes to condominiums.

The various house types are intermingled thoughout the community in niche neighborhoods. The single family residences are surprisingly spacious and very well laid out. The objection I have of some is the step down or sunken living room. Why have that in an adult restricted community, I don’t know. Many of the homes have fairly nice sized yards so, no need to give up your gardening. If you don’t wan’t much yard at all to care for, you can find those as well. The duplex or townhome units are very nicely appointed but you will find most, not as spacious as the single family homes.

Heritage Harbour Easy Commute

The community is a convenient commute to many areas. Route 50 west goes directly into Washington DC, about a 35 min. drive or up Generals Highway to Annapolis in 10 min. It’s an easy drive from Heritage Harbor to downtown Annapolis, Washington DC or even Old Town Alexandria VA for those who enjoy day tripping.
